The Youth Curling Program at the Haliburton Curling Club is pleased to announce that, due to the addition of additional coaches, participation has been expanded to include all JDH students from grades 5 through 8. This is an opportunity for students to have fun on ice and develop skills that will stay with them for a lifetime!
At just $55 for the entire season, this may be the best bargain in sports!
All equipment, along with busing costs from the school to the curling club, as well as snacks before curling, will be funded by Jumpstart.
If youth curlers are interested in more action, a competitive team is being planned.
And if high school students wish to play in any of the adult leagues, the club offers a deal that is half of what adults pay.
Curling will be held every Thursday, from 4-6pm, starting Oct 17. Parents will pick up their kids at the end of each session.
Registration forms are available at JDH and HHSS offices.
The Youth Curling Program begins on the 17th, so apply today!
