Monday Evening Open (Full Year Team Entry)
The Monday Night is a team entry league open to everyone but will be of particular interest to experienced curlers. Teams stay together for the entire year. Draws time is 6:15 pm. If you don't have a team but would like to play, please put your information on the Free Agent Listing so teams looking for players can find you.
Thursday Development League
Objective:
This league is intended for the development of technical skills, team dynamics, and understanding of the game. The aim is for players to enhance their technical abilities, gain a stronger understanding of strategies, and improve teamwork by the end of the season. This is a non-competitive league.
League Format:
- Teams of four, open format; players can switch positions at the start of each game. The teams will stay together for the entire season.
- Participants may register as a team or individually. Individuals will be placed in a pool and are encouraged to form teams with others in the pool. Convenors will not be assigning people to teams.
- The season consists of 3 sessions of 8 afternoons each. Games will begin at 4:30 p.m.
- First afternoon of each session is an on/off-ice clinic. Clinic scopes will be determined based on the participants’ needs/interest.
- Games are 6–8 ends long to be played in 2 hours.
- Each afternoon commences with a 15-minute skills tech talk. Please ensure you arrive at the club 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to prepare and participate in the tech talk.
- After the game, we'll spend 15 minutes wrapping up the day's topic over a social drink.
- On ice coaching during the game is permitted.
- Scores and win/loss records are tracked to assess team performance and progress over the course of the season.
Friday Night Social
More fun than you can imagine with nowhere near the commitment!
Friday nights are all about socializing and mixing it up. There is no need to commit as it is pick up curling and you just show up and will be put on a team that changes every week. You have no obligation to curl you may just wish to socialize.
The format is typically to curl for 4 (or more) ends, and then proceed to the lounge to play various board games, card games, or whatever! There is nothing competitive and everything social about this league. Show up when you can and just be prepared to relax and have fun.
By signing up, you will receive communications of any special Friday night activities (e.g. pizza night). Its your decision if you wish to show up. You do not (usually) need to register in advance or make your intentions known, however on occasion numbers are needed ahead of time and you'll be asked to to specify in advance if you'll attend that week.
Games start at 7:00 pm. Please be upstairs in the lounge by 6:50pm so we can make up the teams for the night.
This is open to all membership types with the exception of Youth. Social members are welcome to join in for off ice activities.
5 Week Learn to Curl (Session 1)
New to Curling? Join this league and we will teach you how to curl over 5 Saturdays. Our coaches will show you how to throw a stone, how to sweep, and have fun.

Session 1 - Monday Daytime Mixed
This league is intended to be a social league with a focus on supporting the skill development of novice curlers at the same time as providing recreational curling for more experienced curlers. Games begin at 9:30 am and noon and are 8 ends. Teams will be drawn up to ensure a mix of novice and experienced curlers on each team and will be redone each session. Couples are encouraged to join and can play together, if requested, at the discretion of the convener based on balancing all teams skills and abilities.
Session 1 - Tuesday Day Ladies
This very popular league is open to all novice and experienced curlers. Only individual entries are allowed. Teams will be reshuffled after each session. No previous curling experience is necessary. Come and have some fun with fantastic ladies and enjoy some great curling! Draws begin at 9:30 am and noon.
Session 1 - Tuesday Evening Mixed
This league is changing direction in an attempt to be come a league for curlers to learn and progress to the next level of positional play. If you wish to step up into a new position or are relatively new to a particular position and wish to play socially with a minimally competitive environment this league is for you. The focus of this league remains a relaxed, recreational mixed curling experience. Teams are reorganized for every session and there will be playoffs in April. Draw time starts at 7 pm.
Session 1 - Wednesday Afternoon Pick up League
A fun, non-competitive, social atmosphere designed for those who want more practice in a non-league scenario, with coaching available. Also for members wishing to return to the game after surgery or illness and wanting to test the waters before committing to a league. Members will be assigned a new team each game. It's intended to be fun, different and with no pressure. If you cannot make a particular week you do NOT have to find a spare. Start time 1:30 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you are added to a team.
Session 1 - Wednesday Evening Mixed
This league is open to all novice and experienced curlers. The focus of this league is to provide a recreational element, however a competitive nature can also be added to this mixed curling experience. Couples can sign up and play together on one team. Draws begin at 6 pm and 8:15 pm, 8 end games. Teams will be shuffled after each session.
Session 1 - Thursday Daytime Mixed
The Thursday mixed league is a fun league made up of a mix of both new and experienced curlers. The main objective is to have fun, meet new people and rejoin friends from previous sessions. This is a recreational league, however, there can also be a competitive nature to this mixed curling experience. Couples will have an opportunity to play on the same team provided the competitive balance of the league stays intact. Individual entries are also accepted. Teams are reorganized for every session and there will be playoffs in April. Draw times are 9:30 am and noon.

The Thursday night men's league is of interest for curlers who fit in the range of limited to fully experienced levels. It is recreational curling open to all ages. This coming season, the league will be comprised of 3 sessions (draws) and each session will have 3 member teams as a norm. New teams will be chosen at the beginning of each draw with game time being 7:00 pm.
Session 1 - Friday Daytime Men's
This is a recreational league that is very popular with the male members of the club. It is intended for both the novice and experienced curler. Draws begin at 9:30 am and / or noon depending on the number of teams. Teams will be shuffled at each session. A prize/food fee will be charged at each session.
