This is a recreational league, however, there can also be a competitive nature to this mixed curling experience. Couples will have an opportunity to play on the same team. Individual entries are also accepted. Teams are reorganized for every session and there will be playoffs in April. Draw times are 9 am and noon. 

The Thursday night men's league is recreational curling open to men of all ages. This coming season, the league will be comprised of 3 sessions (draws). New teams will be chosen at the beginning of each draw. Depending on the number of entries there will be either one game (starting at 7:00 pm) or two games (early game 6:30 pm and a late game 8:30 pm). The Thursday night league is intended for both novice and experienced curlers with the emphasis on having a good time.

This is a recreational league that is very popular with the male members of the club. It is intended for the novice and experienced curler.  Draws begin at 9 am (subject to change for multiple draws). Teams will be shuffled at various points during the year.

More fun than you can imagine with nowhere near the commitment!

Starts Friday October 8 at 7pm - please be upstairs by 6:45pm so we can make up teams 

Friday nights are all about socializing and mixing it up this year. There is no need to commit to every week but we do ask that you sign up by Wednesdays, weekly, so we can anticipate numbers.

Two weeks per month, Haliburton will host “tag curling” which simply means you show up and put your name in and we will put you on a team for that night only for an 8 end game. This will happen every other Friday.

The other two weeks will be hosted once in Haliburton and once in Minden that will include food and live music as well as a 4 to 6 end game, also as a “tag curling” format. There will be an additional $10 payable at the door for entertainment evenings at both clubs to cover food and the band. This gives our curlers an opportunity to not just curl alongside our Minden counterparts but curl in the Minden club once a month.

Regular members of the club can curl in this league. If you wish to ONLY curl Friday nights, the fee is $300 for the year but the $10 surcharge for entertainment nights still applies.

If you would like to bring friends to entertainment nights, they are welcome, for $10 each as well, and they must provide proof of vaccination for entry.

Again, sign-up on will be posted on the board and we need final numbers by Wednesday evenings.
