Purpose
While Haliburton Curling Club is primarily a social / recreational curling club, Curling is still a sport, and has rules of play. In order to ensure the enjoyment of the game for all of our members, it is important to have a set of rules that everyone is expected to follow.
Rules of Curling
Haliburton Curling Club follows the general Rules of Curling for Recreational Play (published September 2022, expires August 2026), with modifications as spelled out in our various curling policies (Helmet Policy, Sparing Policy, League Scoring Policy, and Time Clock Policy).
Members are also required to adhere to the Haliburton Curling Club's Code of Conduct
The rules of curling can be found at the Curling club or can be downloaded from here.
