Time Clock Policy

Purpose

Having enough time to complete an entire game without rushing promotes both safety and enjoyment of the game, while a slow pace of play can be frustrating to the teams involved. In order to allow teams to complete a full 8-end game, while encouraging a good pace of play and leaving sufficient time for the ice team to prepare for the next scheduled game, we have a time clock policy.

Time Clock

For 8-end games, the time clock will be allotted 1h 40m (1:40 or 100 minutes). If the 6th end is NOT completed (last stone delivered past the T-line) before the end of the allotted time, the 7th end will be the last end of the game. Under no circumstances should a new end start after 2 hours of play have been completed.
