The Best Ever Bonspiel Part 4 was another tremendous success thanks to all the 72 members that participated in this end of year celebration. The weather held out and we didn't have any difficulties roasting our pigs, dining on amazing food and dancing the night away with The Recyled Teenagers.

What would a party be like without the setup crew? Thanks to everyone involved and especially to the arena who lends us all their tables and chairs. I believe we had over 100 people attend the dinner and dance!

And what would a pig roast be without the pig roasters? Thanks to Garth Krieger, Keith Clarkson, Del Watson, Rod Bradbury and Kevin Dacey who all worked together to prepare, roast and cut the pork.

The Pig's Ass event was a very close game and the two teams involved were Glenn Smith and Jacob Dobson. As you know, the pig's ass goes to the losing team and this case it was only by ONE rock! So the esteem winners of this coveted event went to the team of Glen Smith, David Ogilvie, Norma Kennedy and Michael Mardus. This team should also win the "Best Sports" award for their sense of humour and good sportmanship.

Congratulations to the team of Chrissie DeLyzer/Neil Oke, Ferne Taylor, Mike Johnson and Jackie Bradbury who placed first in the A Event. They had some really close games and they pulled through the final with a close win.

I'll tell you, they were mighty happy campers!

Runners Up to the A event was the team of Del Watson, Nathaniel Boore, Joan Hawley and Dave Chevrefils.

The winning team of the B Event was the team of Mary Hillaby, April Martin, Bill Keevil and Ted Fletcher.

Runners up to the B Event was the team of Hugh Nichol, Lolita Mitchell, Keith Clarkson and Dianne Chevrefils.

Winners of the C Event was the team of Rick Ashall, Jonah Aldom, Bob Riddell, and Jackie Gentles.

Runners Up to the C Event was the team of Dave Ablett, Don Gentles, Nancy Hughes, and Peg Devine.

Winners of the D Event was the team of Steve Colliver, Eric Hussey, Barry Hughes and Marilyn Mackenzie.

Runners Up to the D Event was the team of Kent Milford, Darla Searle, John Devine and Heather Carroll.

Thanks to everyone for all your support. The food was delicious, the volunteers tending bar, and the ladies and men making snacks all helped to make this bonspiel such a success. Many thanks to the committee of Kent Milford, Mary Hillaby, Wanda Stephen, Jackie Bradbury, and Steve Colliver. The ice team of Mitch Stephen, Doug Wagg, Garth Krieger and Ron Draper were outstanding. Many thanks to all of you.
