The bonny Lassies along with Santa and her elves were curling up a storm on Saturday, March 3rd. Sixteen teams and 64 curlers enjoyed a great day filled with fun, good food, a lot of laughs and animation, and excellent prizes.
The Highland Lassie team of Sue Mason, me, Ferne Taylor, Jan Ashall, Wendy Hewson, Rachel O'Neill, Laila Morse, Alison Curtis, Laraine Forgrave, Barb Foote, Judy Cole, Wanda Stephen, Jackie Bradbury and Linda Boore would like to thank all the volunteers for their hard work in prepping for the day and working long hours on Saturday.
Our servers, Brian Hambley, Glen Smith, Keith Clarkson and Glenn Scott looked quite dapper in their freshly ironed white shirts! Our bartender, Garth Krieger looked mighty fine too!
A huge thank you to John Watson for preparing the ice for us along with Mitch Stephen who helped him all day.
The kitchen is a huge job and we are lucky to have such wonderful curling members that will dedicate a few hours or most of the day to help prepare the food for the curlers. Thank you to Jackie Bradbury, Dianne Kelly, Teresa Keefer, Sue Tierney and Carol Krieger.
Many thanks to Jane Jaycock for purchasing the awesome prizes and preparing cakes for dessert and to our sponsors, Amanda Manary, Arbonne Consultant and Mitch Stephen from TMS Services.
